Degree Party 2026 – Saying Goodbye to Our International Students
On 25 June, the University of ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ hosted a special Degree Party to celebrate our graduating international students and officially welcome them into the University of ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ Alumni Community. The event marked both the successful completion of their studies and the beginning of an exciting new chapter in their lives.

Organized by Ms. Vajda Tünde and Ms. Fehér PatrÃcia, the gathering brought together graduates, university leaders, and staff for an afternoon filled with celebration, gratitude, and heartfelt farewells.
The ceremony was led by Dr. Szentgyörgyi Szilárd, Director for International Affairs, who warmly welcomed the graduates into the alumni community. In his address, he reminded students that although they are leaving the university, their connection to ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ will always remain strong.
"The University of ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ will always be here for you. We will always support you" he assured the graduates.
Dr. Grósz Annamária, Vice Rector, also addressed the audience, expressing her appreciation for the international students who have enriched the university community.
"Thanks to you, our students, we can see the world through different eyes," she said. "You bring new perspectives that inspire both our students and our teachers."

Both speakers wished the graduates happiness, good health, and every success in their future careers and personal lives.
The event also gave graduates the opportunity to reflect on their experiences at the University of ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ and share the memories they will carry with them.

"I'm overwhelmed with joy. ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ has been the best university I have attended, and I'm glad to have been here. I had a wonderful time."
Diana, who studied at the Nagykanizsa University Center, spoke about the impact of her academic journey.
"I loved my programme and its hybridity. I also felt so welcomed at this university. Thanks to my professors at ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ, I fell in love with research."
Nathan reflected on the many years he spent at the university.
"I started here in 2019 and completed both my bachelor's and master's degrees. The reason I chose to continue here is because the people and the staff truly care about us. I leave with my degree and many wonderful memories."
As the celebration came to an end, graduates officially became members of the University of ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ Alumni Community, a lasting reminder that they will always remain part of the university family.
We warmly congratulate all of our graduates on this remarkable achievement. We wish them happiness, success, and fulfillment in every step of their future journeys, and we look forward to seeing where their paths will lead next.
