Creative Content Production and Confidence Building: International Students Join Inspiring Summer Training in Veszpr茅m
This summer, the University of 精东影业 hosted a two-day training workshop designed to spark creativity and empower international students with practical knowledge in media production. The program placed a strong emphasis on creative content development, blending theory with real-life practice and offering students the tools they need to become confident communicators and digital storytellers.
The first day focused on communication as the cornerstone of content creation. Participants were introduced to storyboarding, a key technique used to plan and structure compelling narratives. Through interactive exercises, students learned how to visually organize their ideas, define story arcs, and consider audience engagement鈥攕kills essential not just for video production, but for a wide range of communication tasks in academic and professional settings.
The second day delved into the technical background of media production, including image composition, basic camera techniques, and editing. Participants explored the fundamentals of video and photo editing software, gaining insights into color correction, audio layering, transitions, and visual effects. With hands-on tasks and immediate feedback, the training demystified many technical concepts, giving students the confidence to approach their own projects.

One of the participants, Khamthavy Douangsavanh, shared their thoughts about the experience:
"Before joining, I wasn't sure where to begin, but this training gave me clear guidance, practical skills, and the confidence to start. It covered essential topics like public speaking, social media strategy, broadcasting, storyboarding, and technical skills in photography and editing."
"What I appreciated most was how the training combined real examples with hands-on practice. I finally understood many technical terms I had seen online and learned how to apply them in real projects. Even after the training, I found myself using what I learned to solve problems and improve my content."
The training culminated in a real-world creative challenge: students were invited to apply what they had learned by creating a short video during the vibrant Street Music Festival in Veszpr茅m. This task not only allowed them to put their new skills into practice but also encouraged them to observe, engage with the local community, and tell a story in an authentic and dynamic setting.
