¾«¶«Ó°Òµ

A delegation from Wuhan University and the Hungarian-Chinese Education and Mobility Association visited the University of ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ. The Association plays a key role in helping the University find Chinese partner institutions to launch new joint programs, primarily double degree programs. Under this framework, Chinese students would spend three years in China and one year at the University of ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ, and upon completion receive degrees from both institutions.

Discussions are currently focused on the English-language Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering program at the Faculty of Information Technology. An agreement to launch the joint program was signed by Prof. Zhang Yanduo and Dr. János Abonyi, rectors of the two universities. This initiative is the second collaboration of this kind: the University of ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ recently signed an agreement with Nantong University for a 3+1-year double degree program in the same field.

If the new cooperation receives all required approvals, the program could start in China this year, with the first students expected to arrive at the University of ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ in September 2029.
